Online Academic Training

​

The North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRTB) requires individuals who desire to obtain a LXMO license or a Bone Densitometry Technologist license to complete a course of training approved by the Board.  Continuing Education Providers offers an approved online education course consisting of lectures and quizzes that include the curriculum required by the NDMIRTB.  Our online course helps the student to acquire a basic knowledge and practical understanding of the fundamentals of radiation safety and the daily operation of diagnostic x-ray equipment.  We feel that our format of lecture, quiz, practice examinations, and review is the optimal way for students to retain the information necessary to pass the licensing examination.

 

Clinical Training

​Once the student completes the online didactic training he/she will apply for a Conditional LXMO ND License and then receive a packet of information regarding clinical requirements from the NDMIRTB.  It is the responsibility of the student to make arrangements to complete their clinicals.

 

Course Cost

​The Continuing Education Providers online LXMO course is $850.00 and the online Bone Densitometry course is $600.00.  Included in both are the academic course, the textbook, and an exam prep workbook.
